The right gift is one of the only things on Earth that can put a smile on someone’s face in both good times and bad. This is something Foldsi’s founder Tracy knows all too well.
It’s fair to say that Tracy has gone through some rocky moments in her life. To cut a very long story short, two cancer battles and a history of chronic illness have tested Tracy’s natural positive energy to the absolute limit.
In those particularly tricky times, it was the love shown by others that helped her through.
“I remember when I was going through my second cancer treatment, a friend sent me a beautiful gift box to let me know she was there for me. It meant the world to know I wasn’t alone. I felt humbled that someone would go to that much effort for me. It was lovely and I’ll never forget it.”
It’s not just during illness that a gift box has had an impact on Tracy.
“My daughter was living in London and was unable to come and see me on my birthday due to work commitments. When a big package arrived at my door on the morning of my birthday, it brought tears to my eyes (in a good way!). Although I desperately wanted to see her, seeing how much effort she had put into my birthday package put a massive smile on my face.”
After experiencing first-hand the joy of receiving gift boxes, Tracy set her positive attitude to work to bring smiles to others through the power of gifting.
And Foldsi was born!
